Macmillan Coffee Morning
Come and see our staff who will be in fancy dress for a "Mad Hatters Tea Party" themed Macmillan coffee morning, there will be tea, coffee, and cakes (for a small donation), a raffle with various prizes, guess the weight of the Macmillan cake. All guests will receive a 10% discount voucher to spend in store. All donations and money raised will go to Macmillan. From 11.00am-3.00pm.

Come Dine with Me
Ewhurst and Villages Come Dine With Me - chefs attempt to wow each other with their culinary and entertaining skills in order to claim the magnificent prize.
Over the course of 4 evenings, each competitor takes their turn to host a dinner party for the others.
The best host (voted by the other dinner party hosts) goes through to the semi-finals and the best from those to the finals.
Each entrant will receive a free bottle of Cava
What you have to do is:
Pick up an application form from the church, the school or the village shop, complete it and return it with your entry fee of £25.00 – and then: brush down your cookbooks, brush up your prize winning recipes and wait for your guests!
The proceeds will be divided between St Peter and St Paul Church and Ewhurst CofE Infant School

This is a witty, funny, tragic comedy that explores the issue that absolute certainty is an illusion. In a hotel room a Professor (Einstein) is doing calculus. An actress (Marilyn Monroe) tries to convince him that she is more than her screen persona by explaining the Theory of Relativity to him. A Senator (Joe McCarthy) wants him to testify before his Committee. A baseball player (Joe DiMaggio) wants his wife back.

William Heath Robinson
William Heath Robinson (1872 -1944) who was known as ‘The Gadget King’ in the 1930s is most widely remembered for his wonderful humorous drawings. His illustrations for Poetry by Poe and Kipling, Andersen's Fairy Tales, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Water Babies and Perrault's Fairy Tales, achieved classic status around the world and placed him in the rank of Rackham and Dulac, This exhibition offers the chance to see a selection of original drawings and paintings representing all aspects of his art, the majority from the collection of The William Heath Robinson.
This exhibition as been organised in association with The Imaginative Book Illustration Society
